Before you talk to the insurance company
If you were hurt in a crash in Wake County, the other driver's insurance company may already be asking you for a recorded statement. Before you give one, you should understand one North Carolina rule. Under contributory negligence, an injured person found even partly at fault can be barred from recovering anything. Adjusters know that rule well.
I have represented injured people in North Carolina since 1998. My office is in Graham. When you call from Raleigh, Cary or anywhere else in Wake County, our first conversation is by phone or video, and I tell you plainly what I see, including the parts of the case that are a problem.
The first work on a case is reading the insurance policies and the crash report. Those two documents usually shape what happens next. I will not promise you an amount, because no attorney can honestly do that before the facts are in.

Raleigh and all eleven other Wake County towns.
Raleigh is the county seat. Wake County court cases and estates are handled at the Wake County Courthouse in downtown Raleigh, and I handle that work for clients from my office in Graham.
There is no Raleigh office. You will not need to drive anywhere for the first conversation, because it happens by phone or video. I also meet clients in person.
